When electronics or items with sensitive or bare metal surfaces are exposed to saltwater and saltwater vapor during ocean transport, they become vulnerable to corrosion, potentially compromising their functionality.

To mitigate this risk, we employ a protective measure by placing such items in a vapor barrier bag along with activated desiccant. Subsequently, we heat-seal the seams of the bag, followed by using a vacuum to reduce the air volume inside before making the final seal. This process effectively lowers the humidity level within the barrier bag, thereby helping to prevent corrosion.
